The Transition House is always in need of:

  • New nightwear for women and children
  • New women's and children's underwear & socks
  • Slippers and robes
  • New brushes, combs and toiletries (unscented)

"Transitions" Thrift Store

Money raised from the sales at our "Transitions" Thrft Store are used to support all of our programs in the Southern Gulf Islands. If you have gently used goods that you would like to donate, please see our Thrift Store web page for further details or call or drop by the store.

Thrifty's Smile Card

Donate to Island Women Against Violence while you shop for groceries. You can pick up a Thrifty's Smile Card at the Transitions Thrift Store or by contacting the Executive Director.

Ganges Village Market Save-A-Tape

Save the cash register tape from your grocery purchase and place it in the Salt Spring Transition House 'Save-A-Tape' box on your way out. GVM donates a percentage of your purchase total to IWAV.

All cash donations over $10
will be issued a charitable tax receipt.
