NEW Web Chat on Website!

IWAV is pleased to announce the new webchat option for our crisis line!
Generally available from 12pm to 8pm, 7 days per week, the webchat is a safer option for people living in abusive situations who don’t have private space for a phone call.

If you or someone you know is experiencing violence or abuse, go to iwav.org and click on the webchat box in the middle of our homepage. There, you can connect to one of our frontline support workers who can assist with safety planning, exit strategies, referrals, and other resources.

Are you looking for counselling or support?

Stopping the Violence (STV) is a feminist-based counselling program specifically for women whose lives have been affected by violence and abuse.

Outreach is here to help all women, inclusive of cis, trans and non-binary women who are impacted by violence and/or abuse on Salt Spring, Galiano, Mayne, Pender, and Saturna Islands.
